Jackal GIMP Shading Test

This is one of my many DragonBall Z OC's lol This is Jackal and I know some of you may recognize this picture from here: [link] from back in 2009 xD That is because I simply re-coloured that same picture with GIMP to test my shading skills lmao

I must say, for someone with only a few weeks experience with drawing on a computer with a program they've never used I'm pretty proud of myself ^^ Of course I know there's always room for improvement so please if you're an experience GIMP user whose been at this for a while please feel free to give me some advice on how I could improve Constructive criticism is welcome as well as critiques to ^^ Anything to give me a sense of what I could be improving upon whether it be new techniques or tools in the program I haven't figured out how to use yet

Now onto less seriousness lol This is actually one of my oc's appearing in my DragonBall Z fan fiction titledDragonBall Z: Origins So if this interests you please feel free to check it out in my gallery ^^

Other than that I don't have much else to say about this picture other than I haven't drawn any of my DBZ ocs in a long while x3 I must remedy that...
